"ALBERGO DIFFUSO MONOPOLI" Booking & Cancellation Conditions

Please read the booking rules below carefully. Each reservation, after its confirmation, has the value of a contract according to current Italian legislation. The contract is binding for those who make the reservation and for all the other subjects mentioned in the same, including minors.

It is possible to send a request of availability and wait for our reply. Alternatively, you can book online by following the instructions available on our website www.albergodiffusomonopoli.it. After receiving your request, you will receive a (non-binding) offer.

The reservation is to be considered confirmed only after our written communication in which is indicated the total price of the stay and after the payment of the deposit, to be made within 3 working days of our confirmation.

If payment is not made within the required time, the reservation is void. The reservation becomes binding for Albergo Diffuso Monopoli only upon reception of a copy of the payment receipt of the deposit or credit card details for the authorized withdrawal or pre-authorization.

At this point Albergo Diffuso Monopoli will send the customer a confirmation e-mail or a summary voucher to be shown at check-in. Confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.

We kindly ask you to check the accuracy of the confirmation data and to notify us of any anomaly as soon as possible. The communication must be received no later than 3 days from receipt of the same. After this term we decline all responsibility for any inaccuracies.

Upon arrival, it is mandatory to present an identification document for each person, including minors. To make changes to your reservation you must contact the reception staff, who will do their best to accommodate your request. However, we cannot guarantee fulfillment of this request. In case of moving the reservation to a period for which the price is higher than the amount paid, the customer is required to pay the difference.

2. Payment Conditions_INDIVIDUALS

General conditions: A deposit is required to be paid (excluding tourist tax and optional services) no later than 3 working days from the booking confirmation date. In case of non-receipt of the deposit within the indicated terms, the reservation is void. The amount of the confirmatory deposit is equal to 30% of the total amount of the stay. As required by the civil code in art. 1385, this will not be returned in case of cancellation or no-show. Payment methods accepted: bank transfer and credit card. The balance of the reservation must be paid within 15 days of the arrival date. Any extras must be paid before departure.

Payment Conditions_GROUPS

-          30% as deposit to confirm the reservation,;

nothing receiving whitin 7 days, reservation request will be cancelled;

-          70% 30 days before the check-in

Pre-authorization:

Albergo Diffuso Monopoli reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the customer's arrival by requesting a pre-authorization from the circuit to which they belong. With the pre-authorization the structure guarantees the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or of a part of it, to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS COLLECTED. The pre-authorization automatically expires 20 days after the requested date and the amount is released. In case of pre-authorization with a negative outcome, the customer will be notified and the reservation will be cancelled. In this case the facility will have no obligation towards the customer.

Full payment in advance, "Non-Refundable":
If this special rate is booked, the full amount will be charged from the credit card or by bank transfer. The full amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Extension of stay :

The extension of the stay requires an additional reservation, and is subject to availability and rate changes.

3. City tax

In Monopoli there is a tourist tax of 1 euro per person for the entire duration of the stay. Our rates do not include the same tax, which must be paid directly at the reception.

4. Cancellation Policy (individual bookings)

Any cancellation of reservation must be communicated in writing. For the cancellation conditions, please refer to your booking confirmation. In case of cancellation or changes made up to 15 days before the expected date of arrival, only the 30% amount paid upon booking confirmation will be retained. For cancellations or changes made after 15 days from the expected arrival date or no-show, the full amount of the stay will be charged. This cancellation policy is not valid for the "Non-Refundable" rate (for this case the reservation amount will be charged at the time of booking and will not be returned in any case of cancellation).

NoShow : (no-show)

In case of no-show, the entire amount of the stay will be retained.

Booking and Cancellation Policy_GROUPS

Confirming a reservation, the person who completes the process is identified as the referent of the group and confirms that he is authorized by the other participants to adhere to the Booking Conditions and the Cancellation Policy of Albergo Diffuso Monopoli Srl.
The referent of the group is responsible for the total billing for all bookings confirmed by him. Requests after the expiry date must be communicated directly and exclusively by the group leader.
Deposit: To confirm the booking, is required a deposit of 30% or 50% on the total amount.
Rooming list: the group leader is responsible for sending the final guest list as soon as possible and not less than 15 days before arrival.
Any cancellations must be communicated by e-mail. In case of cancellation the penalty will be as follows:
• no penalty is due up to 60 days prior to arrival
• from the 59th to the 45th day prior to arrival –> Penalty of 30% on the total amount
• from the 44th to the 30th day prior to arrival –>50% penalty on the total amount
• from the 29th to the 7th day prior to arrival –> Penalty of 80% of the total amount
• from the 6th onwards and for NO SHOW –> Penalty of 100% on the total amount.
In case of  "no show" or early departure, the penalty will be the 100% of the total amount. Early departures will be charged for the entire stay.

The confirmation of the reservation implies acceptance of our cancellation and deposit terms.

6. Force majeure clause

The management declines all responsibility for disservices due to lack of supplies, accidental breakdowns of the equipment or other force majeure events. We decline all responsibility for damage caused by other guests, atmospheric events, natural disasters, epidemics, diseases and thefts.
